Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville/Air Force Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 71-11 loss at the hands of the Manley Wildcats.
Manley found their leader in sophomore Jaklaya Hunter, who went 25-for-32 to rack up 61 points along with eight steals and six boards. Hunter's evening made it 20 games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja Von Willis, who posted six points in addition to 15 rebounds and three steals.
The win (which was Manley's fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.
As of now, neither Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville/Air Force Academy nor Manley have any future games scheduled.
