If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Lindbergh. They and Northwest go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff game of the year. Lindbergh have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so Northwest might have their hands full.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-49, which was the final score in Northwest's tilt against Fox last Friday. Northwest were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Meanwhile, Lindbergh might be getting used to good results now that the squad has three wins in a row. They made easy work of Parkway South and carried off a 43-12 win. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Lindbergh, who can brag about four blowout wins.
Lindbergh's victory lifted them to 6-3 while Northwest's loss dropped them down to 5-4. We'll find out if Lindbergh can add another positive mark to their record or if Northwest can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Lindbergh's step.
