Buchanan came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Dowagiac Chieftains. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 on Wednesday.

Buchanan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dowagiac only posted a batting average of .292.
Buchanan's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Dowagiac, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
