Bethel Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Josh Coba led the charge by scoring 21 points along with 7 rebounds. The contest was Coba's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Kyababchian, who scored 11 points along with 8 steals and 5 assists.
The last time The Grove School won on the road was back last Wednesday. Having now lost three straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 0-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.7 points per game. As for Bethel Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Grove School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Norton Science & Language Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Bethel Christian, they will take on Cornerstone Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
