The Christian Fellowship Eagles pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 75-59 fall against Calloway County. Christian Fellowship was down 68-47 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Calloway County found their leader in underclassman Sayler Lowe, who scored 35 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lowe has scored all season. Jaidan Koch was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Christian Fellowship has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Calloway County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Fellowship will take on the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calloway County, they will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Murray will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Lakers are ranked 72nd).
