The Mancos Bluejays will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Cedaredge Bruins at 4:30 p.m. on December 19th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Mancos has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Del Norte with a sharp 52-28 win on Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mancos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Spencer Eschallier, who scored 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Veach, who scored 11 points.
Cedaredge can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against North Fork by a score of 63-52. That looming 63-52 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cedaredge yet this season.
Luke Maxey was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 33 points. Another player making a difference was Rylan Brooks, who scored 15 points.
Mancos' win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Cedaredge's record now sits at 1-4.
