 Xavier Glover was a  major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He is becoming a predictor of Orangeburg-Wilkinson's success: when he allows at  most one  hit the team is 2-1 (and 5-6 when he doesn't). Glover was even better at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Kaleb Jamison was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four  stolen bases and two  runs. Orangeburg-Wilkinson is 4-1 when  Jamison posts two or  more  runs, but 3-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Donovan Hughes, who  went 1-for-2 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Orangeburg-Wilkinson  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .677. They are 6-2 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  win  got Orangeburg-Wilkinson back to even at 7-7. As for Battery Creek, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the  loss, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orangeburg-Wilkinson will head out to  face off against Edisto  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Battery Creek, they will square off against Whale Branch at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
