The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 64-42 walloping at the hands of Mosley. While losing is never fun, North Bay Haven Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 696th, while Mosley is ranked 220th).
Mosley found their leader in underclassman Isaiah Smith, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and three steals. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Mcfatter, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
North Bay Haven Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mosley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.
North Bay Haven Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wakulla at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for Mosley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bay at 7:30 p.m. Bay is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
