The Greenhills Gryphons will face off against the Whitmore Lake Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenhills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, Greenhills got the win against Cabrini by a conclusive 13-1. The win continues a trend for the Gryphons in their matchups with the Monarchs: they've now won six in a row.

Jeremiah Bowman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Talen Pilz was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Liam Pilz was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Greenhills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cabrini didn't got any hits.
Meanwhile, Whitmore Lake started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Morenci. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 9-8 on Saturday.
Whitmore Lake also got a good showing from Chase Abla, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Curtis Bower was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Devon Cervantes, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Greenhills' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Whitmore Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
