Baseball Recap: Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Find Success

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton came out on top against Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Panthers skirted past the Flying Dutchmen 8-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Connor Lanoue, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Aiden Sanow was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton will challenge MACCRAY at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian, they will square off against Canby at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
