Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglass). Everything went their way against the Central Falcons on Tuesday as the Douglass Eagles made off with an 82-56 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season.

Douglass' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mubarak Adegboyega, who made all 6 shots he took for 12 points. Adegboyega is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jelani Lee, who went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points.

Douglass was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win (which was Douglass' third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Central, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Douglass will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Surrattsville at 7:00 p.m. Central and Largo will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
