The East Bladen Eagles and the Tarboro Vikings squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the East Bladen Eagles had to settle for second. They fell 20-13 to the Vikings. East Bladen's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Tarboro was led to victory by Mason Satterfield and Kamerin Mcdowell-moore. Satterfield rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while Mcdowell-moore rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Mcdowell-moore has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
East Bladen's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Tarboro, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.
East Bladen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tarboro will be playing at home against West Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Columbus' defense has only allowed 8.8 points per game this season, so Tarboro's offense will have their work cut out for Tarboro.
