After soaring high against Long Island Lutheran last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Saturday. Morristown-Beard might be aching after a bruising 6-58 loss to Immaculate Conception. The result was completely at odds with the teams' state rankings as Morristown-Beard enjoys a hefty 177 spot advantage.
The loss dropped Morristown-Beard back to even at 1-1. The victory bumped Immaculate Conception's record up to 2-0.
Morristown-Beard will look to defend their home turf next week against Hopkins at 3:00 PM. As for Immaculate Conception, they will face off against Montclair Kimberley Academy.
