Yeshiva stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Don Bosco Cristo Rey 72-33 at home. This was payback for Yeshiva, who suffered a 46-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Defeat or not, Don Bosco Cristo Rey got some senior leadership from Yandell Fabian and Christon Harris. Fabian scored 12 points, while Harris. scored 14 points.
Yeshiva's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Don Bosco Cristo Rey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yeshiva has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Don Bosco Cristo Rey, they and the Hornets will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
