The Sandusky Blue Streaks lost against the Huron Tigers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Sandusky took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Huron. Sandusky has struggled against Huron recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Sandusky's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cassidy Stovall, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Shauntha Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Sandusky's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Huron, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandusky will take on Port Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Huron, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Perkins at 7:15 p.m.
