The Live Oak Acorns's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a  59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Silver Creek. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Live Oak of the  72-63 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture  on January 10th.
 Live Oak lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Austin Jennings, who  scored 14 points along with six  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Raymond Ramirez, who  scored 15 points.
 Live Oak has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost ten of their last 11 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Silver Creek, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-13.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Live Oak's road trip will continue as they head out to face Gilroy at 7:00  p.m.  on January 31st. Gilroy is coming into the  game on a six-game losing streak. As for Silver Creek, they will head out on the road to  take on  Hill at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. One thing working in Hill's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last five contests.
