Howe has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Pottsboro Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Howe has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Friday, Howe beat Bonham 66-53.
Meanwhile, Pottsboro didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Leonard on Friday, but they still walked away with a 59-54 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pottsboro.
Howe has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Pottsboro, they pushed their record up to 14-12 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Howe came up short against Pottsboro in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 53-41. Can Howe avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
