The Victory Christian Lions won the last time they faced the Faith Christian Lions, and things went their way on Monday too. Victory Christian enjoyed a cozy 47-32 win over Faith Christian.
Haley Hendrix was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 21 points, 20 rebounds, and 11 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Lee, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Victory Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Faith Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian will challenge Fayetteville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayetteville is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Faith Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Alabama School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alabama School for the Deaf is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
