The Service Cougars can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past Chugiak 65-33 at home. The win was just what Service needed coming off of a 59-27 defeat in their prior game.
Service was led to victory by Karlierose Lealaisalanos and Aryanna Watson. Lealaisalanos scored 17 points, while Watson scored 26 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Watson has scored at least a third of Service's points. Leia Silva was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Service pushed their record up to 5-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Chugiak, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Service will take on the Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ketchikan is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Chugiak, they will be playing at home against the Thunderbirds at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
