The Riverview Sharks will face off against the Leto Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Riverview turned things around against Chamberlain on Thursday. They never let the Storm get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Sharks' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Driston Marino was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Newman, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Zihmer, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Riverview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chamberlain only posted an OBP of .263.
Meanwhile, Leto gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on Chamberlain with a sharp 11-1 victory.
Like Riverview, Leto also got a great game from a two-way player: Daniel Gonzalez. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Gonzalez was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Alex Abreu was excellent, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Brett Valerio was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Riverview's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Leto, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Riverview beat Leto 7-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2019. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
