Chinle lost against St. Johns back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Redskins by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Chinle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennon Sorrell, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Chinle's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. Johns, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8.

Chinle has already played their next game, a 12-9 win against Miyamura on the 5th. As for St. Johns, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-2 victory against Pinon on the 4th.
