 Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when Slaton faced off against Littlefield on Thursday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Wildcats  4-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Tigers.
 Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Slaton, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.
 Trinity Christian took their  win against Slaton  when the teams last played  back in February by a conclusive  14-0 score. Do  the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
