The Fort Osage Indians had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 55.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against Raytown by a score of 61-54. For Fort Osage, this counts as revenge for the 66-63 loss Raytown walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Fort Osage can attribute much of their success to Isaac Woodward, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Woodward's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cruz Navarro, who scored 12 points.
Fort Osage's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Raytown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Fort Osage will head out on the road to face off against Grain Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Raytown, they will be playing at home against Chrisman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
