Lake Houston HomeSchool is 1-6 against Texas Christian since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lake Houston HomeSchool Conquerors will be staying on the road to face off against the Texas Christian Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
Lake Houston HomeSchool's game on Saturday was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Texas Christian and Varsity Opponent on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. Texas Christian claimed a resounding 87-25 win over Varsity Opponent at home. The result was nothing new for Texas Christian, who have now won four games by 25 points or more so far this season.
Brecken Pelzel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. The matchup was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Daniel Williams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Their wins bumped Lake Houston HomeSchool to 3-4 and Trinity to 5-2.
Lake Houston HomeSchool was dealt a bruising 42-0 defeat at the hands of Texas Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Lake Houston HomeSchool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
