Volleyball Recap: King's Academy Has No Trouble Against True North Classical Academy

King's Academy won the last time they faced True North Classical Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans.

King's Academy didn't let True North Classical Academy take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 27-25.

John Casey paced King's Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Casey got some help from Jake Manning and his 25 assists. Casey also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Ryan Huff, racking up two apiece.

King's Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for True North Classical Academy, they dropped their record down to 13-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

King's Academy and True North Classical Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Lions will challenge Morningside Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (10 vs. 140). Meanwhile, True North Classical Academy (ranked 31st) will meet Killian (ranked 248th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
