Seminole is 8-2 against Clearwater since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warhawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Seminole is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Seminole's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Mitchell by a score of 5-0. The Warhawks haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Mack McGinnis made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Patrick Mazzei, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Clearwater beat Anclote 4-0 on Friday.
Like Seminole, Clearwater also got a great game from a two-way player: Eduardo Alfredo. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Alfredo was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Alfredo wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ty Woodring, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Jackson King was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Seminole's record now sits at 16-6. As for Clearwater, their record is now 12-7.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Seminole has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Clearwater struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Seminole's way against Clearwater in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Seminole made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warhawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
