Even though the Meeteetse Longhorns have not done well against the Dubois Rams recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Meeteetse snuck past Dubois with a 54-48 win. This was payback for Meeteetse, who suffered a 62-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Meeteetse to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jason Moody, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds. Ethan Salzman was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Meeteetse is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Dubois, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Meeteetse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dubois and Wind River will face off on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Wind River is ranked 53rd, while Dubois is ranked 60th).
