The Global Concepts Gators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Holland by a score of 60-57. That's two games in a row now that Global Concepts has lost by exactly three points.
When it comes to explaining why Global Concepts lost, one person who can't be blamed is Darius Brown II. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Brown II is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawndale Lipscomb, who scored nine points along with five assists.
Global Concepts now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Holland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Global Concepts will face off against East Aurora on Monday. Holland will be staying on the road on January 13th to face off against Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th.
