The Mira Monte Lions are on the road again  on Friday to play the Minarets Mustangs at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.

 Mira Monte was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 235  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 152  rushing yards in nine consecutive  games.

  Torin Wolf continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 163 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 45 yards and a touchdown.
 Minarets' win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-2. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.7 points per game. As for Mira Monte,  the  victory  got them back to even at 6-6.
