Ramapo had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. Everything went their way against the Ridgefield Park Scarlets as they made off with a 9-2 victory. Considering the Raiders have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Ramapo's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgefield Park, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramapo will host DePaul Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Ridgefield Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waldwick at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
