Fairfield led Solano County in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on Fairfield.
Ryan Bohnet put up the best numbers through the air as Benicia fell to Oakland Tech. He finished with a total of 17 completions for 256 yards and three touchdowns. Bohnet's favorite target this week was Lewis III John, who caught four passes for 82 yards.
Christian Basden was the best wideout in the league this week as Vanden lost to Center. Basden tallied five receptions for 86 yards. Dion Williams helped Vanden's passing attack out by catching six balls for 74 yards.
Jueit Davis was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 147 yards on 16 carries as Vallejo fell to the Cougars. Teammate Anthony Budil added to the ground attack by rushing for 52 yards.
The Panthers' Bohnet and James Hyde-Jr. have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Solano County in both passing and receiving yards. Bohnet has thrown for 1220 yards this season, while Hyde-Jr., a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 20 catches for 379 yards. Jomon Dotson from American Canyon leads the league in rushing with 997 yards.
Dotson of the American Canyon is only three yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Ian MacMillan's team takes on Vallejo. American Canyon's offense has recorded 233 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Michael Wilson's team has permitted only 175 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Apaches take on American Canyon. Vallejo is currently in sixth, while American Canyon is in first.
Benicia fell 29-28 to the Bulldogs in the closest game of the week. Bohnet ran for 34 yards in the loss.
