Jay saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Audrey Rosas, who  went a perfect2-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI. Another  was  Nyela Bushman, who  went a perfect2-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Even though they lost, Jay was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .474. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .348 or higher in four consecutive  matchups.
 Jay's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Jefferson suffered a grim  8-0 defeat to Jay  in their previous matchup  back in February of 2024. Can Jefferson avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
