It was a good run, but the Kendall Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Notre Dame 32-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kendall has scored all season.
Notre Dame was led to victory by Emma Sisson and Sofia Falleti. Sisson scored seven points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Falleti scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Falleti is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Falleti, who scored two points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Kendall's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1. As for Notre Dame, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Kendall will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rochester Prep at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th. Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
