Nick Thompson threw for 159 yards on 15 of 23 attempts. J'meire Jones was his top target, picking up 106 receiving yards.
Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Clarksdale, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
