Basketball Recap: Fostoria Skates Past Northwood with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fostoria). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Northwood Rangers 58-14. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Alycia Middlebrooks was a one-woman wrecking crew for Fostoria as she went 9 for 16 on her way to 23 points and five rebounds. Amijah Poole was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Fostoria and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Northwood, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Fostoria will head out to challenge Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northwood, they will welcome Vanlue at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
