The Gaels return three starters from a talented 2018-19 squad that looks to capture a ninth consecutive state championship.
Bishop Gorman begins the year outside the Top 10 after a strong finish to last season, making its first GEICO Nationals appearance and falling to then No. 1 La Lumiere (La Porte) 74-69 in double overtime.
Although the Nevada powerhouse lost key big men Isaiah Cottrell and Max Allen to transfer, they return a strong core led by talented junior guards Collins and McClendon
Alongside their guard duo, Taitz, Wilkinson, Lamar and Braggs are expected to make an increased impact for a group that has played together for some time.
The Gaels' chemistry will be challenged throughout the season with a difficult schedule that includes trips to the Tarkanian Classic, Les Schwab Invitational and showdowns with No. 10 Oak Hill Academy and No. 12 Roselle Catholic at the Spalding Hoophall Classic.
Bishop Gorman is expected to return to GEICO Nationals with a serious chance to make a run at the program's first national title on the hardwood.

Bishop Gorman is loaded with talent as it looks to capture a ninth consecutive Nevada championship.
