Parish Episcopal has gone 9-1 against Prestonwood Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Lions  at 7:00  p.m. Parish Episcopal knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Prestonwood Christian likes a good challenge.
Parish Episcopal is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They breezed past Liberty Christian to the tune of  56-28 on Friday. With the Panthers ahead  35-7 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.

Parish Episcopal's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Logan Lucero, who threw for 341 yards and five  touchdowns on only 16 passes. Those  341  passing yards gave  Lucero a new career-high.  Jaylen Pile was another key receiver, picking up 149 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Parish Episcopal didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Liberty Christian to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank  Taylor Pettit for the heroic effort on defense: he. Parish Episcopal has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.65 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.65 in their last three games.
 Parish Episcopal's defense didn't let  Quinn Murphy, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for five sacks.  Benjamin Rich was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.  Connor Corwin was another major factor on D,  picking up  0.5  sacks and making 13 total tackles (2.5 for loss).
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Prestonwood Christian, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. Everything went their way against Legacy Christian Academy on Friday as they made off with  a  51-25 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Eagles are ranked 404th).
 Prestonwood Christian's win came from a few key players Parish Episcopal will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Luke Glass, who threw for 340 yards and four  TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes. Prestonwood Christian is 2-1 when  Glass posts 300 or  more  passing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Junior Kniffen, who picked up 144 receiving yards and three  touchdowns.
 Parish Episcopal pushed their record up to 7-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Prestonwood Christian,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
The upcoming  matchup will be a clash of competing strengths. Parish Episcopal has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 213.5 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile, Prestonwood Christian has preferred to attack from the air: they average 294 passing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail  on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
 Parish Episcopal didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Prestonwood Christian  in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  61-55 win.
