The biggest upset of the week belonged to Reading, who took down 43rd ranked Conrad Weiser, 22-15.
Governor Mifflin extended the longest winning streak in Berks Inter-County 1 this week by beating Twin Valley, 42-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Exeter Township's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chase Yocum threw for 133 and 2 touchdowns and Ethan Lutz had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Yocum contributed 205 yards. Drew Bennett helped Exeter Township's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 47 yards.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Yocum and Lutz proved to be unstoppable against Pottsville, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bennett helped Exeter Township's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 47 yards.
The Crimson Tide's Tyler Moser and Travis Blankenhorn have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Moser has thrown for 829 yards this season, while Blankenhorn has 20 catches for 438 yards. Daniel Boone's Kyle Myers leads the league in rushing yards with 1,106.
Alex Guilbe of the the Scouts is just 53 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 144 carries Guilbe has put up 947 yards this year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Conrad Weiser takes on Dominic Vecchio's team. Al Moyer's team is in third place, while the Mustangs are in first place.
The Red KNights moved up to 280 from 326 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Berks Inter-County 1. Reading was able to move up by beating the Scouts 22-15.
