The Eldorado Sundevils can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 21-7 win over Amplus Academy. The win was just what Eldorado needed coming off of a 72-18 loss in their prior matchup.
Several Archers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Naia Youngblood, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and eight steals.
Eldorado's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Amplus Academy, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9.
Eldorado will square off against Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amplus Academy, they will be playing at home against Bonanza at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Bonanza is ranked 90th, while Amplus Academy is ranked 106th).
