Baseball Recap: Marblehead Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Marblehead barely beat Swampscott the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Magicians blew past the Big Blue 12-1 on Wednesday. The Magicians haven't had any issues with the Big Blue recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Marblehead's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Swampscott, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

As for Swampscott, they will head out to square off against Saugus at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Sachems will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Big Blue surely won't give up without a fight.
