The Bayside Marlins will square off against the Princess Anne Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Bayside made up a huge gap compared to their last game against First Colonial, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Marlins fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Marlins in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Bayside got a good showing from Zackery Schilmoeller, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The Marlins are 2-1 when Schilmoeller allows one or fewer hits, but 5-11 otherwise.
At the plate, Bayside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Barry Farias Jr, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Princess Anne sidestepped Tallwood for a 4-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won seven in a row.
Reid Vandergrift made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run.
In other pitching news, Owen Schmidt looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
Back at the plate, Aidan McKeating was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
Bayside's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Princess Anne, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
