After flying high against Northmont last Wednesday, Centerville came back down to earth. The Centerville Elks had to suffer through a 82-48 loss at the hands of the Springfield Wildcats. The Elks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Centerville fell to 3-1. As for Springfield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centerville will host Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Springfield, they will take on Northmont at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
