John Hay will head out on the road to face off against the East Tech Scarabs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Tech took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on John Hay, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, John Hay humbled Glenville with a 67-7 victory. The win was just what John Hay needed coming off of a 67-26 loss in their prior match.
Tylia Parker continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of John Hay's points. Sana Hicks was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Meanwhile, East Tech took a serious blow against John Marshall on Tuesday, falling 56-13. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for East Tech in their matchups with John Marshall: they've now lost five in a row.
The win got John Hay back to even at 2-2. As for East Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
