The West Lauderdale Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-15 defeat at the hands of Terry. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points West Lauderdale has scored all season.
Terry can attribute much of their success to Elisiah Branson, who scored 16 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Marleya Myers, who scored 16 points along with four steals.
West Lauderdale has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Terry, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.
West Lauderdale will be playing at home against Leake County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leake County is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Terry, they will head out on the road to face off against West Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
