Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Riverview should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will be playing at home against Stuttgart at at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
After a disappointing seven points in their last match, Riverview made sure to put some points up on the board against Mills University Studies last Friday. Riverview were the clear victor by a 42-14 margin over Mills University Studies. Junior Logan Miller was the offensive standout of the match for Riverview, as he rushed for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of the most memorable plays of the game was Miller's 60-yard touchdown rush in the second quarter.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart got themselves on the board against Bald Knob, but Bald Knob never followed suit. Stuttgart were fully in charge, breezing past Bald Knob 35-0. The win was familiar territory for Stuttgart, who now have four in a row.
Their wins bumped Stuttgart to 4-1 and Riverview to 2-4. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Stuttgart and Riverview will really light up the scoreboard.
