Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Park). They enjoyed a cozy 57-42 win over the Oak Lawn Spartans on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Lancers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Spartans are ranked 91st).

Lake Park's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Oak Lawn, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
