The Beech Buccaneers struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Tuesday (Rockvale were 25% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Beech fell 56-43 to Rockvale. Beech has struggled against Rockvale recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Beech still got an impressive performance from Kabria Revels, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Macey Blazek, who scored 3 points along with 8 rebounds.
Rockvale was led to victory by Jade Watson and Kamaria Murray. Watson scored 18 points along with 3 steals, while Murray dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Murray's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Maritza Wright, who scored 8 points.
Beech has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Rockvale, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Beech will head out on the road to face off against Station Camp at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Station Camp will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Beech is ranked 99th). As for Rockvale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nolensville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
