The Hagerty Huskies will venture away from home to  challenge the Oviedo Lions  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hagerty will be strutting in after a  victory while Oviedo will be coming in after a  defeat.
Hagerty will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 19  points  on Thursday, then bounced right back against Orangewood Christian  on Tuesday. Hagerty breezed by Orangewood Christian to the tune of  56-10. Considering the Huskies' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

  Shelby Maloney and  Isabel Lindauer were among the main playmakers for Hagerty as the former  went 7 of 12  on her way to 20  points and six  rebounds and the latter  went 7 for 15  en route to 18 points and four  steals. Those four  steals gave  Lindauer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jarianna Fletcher, who  posted six points.
 Meanwhile, Oviedo was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  a  54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Altamonte Christian. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by  exactly eight  points.
 Oviedo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hagerty, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
 Everything came up roses for Hagerty against Oviedo when the teams last played  back in December of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  68-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hagerty since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
