After three games on the road, Marana is heading back home. They will take on the Rincon/University Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Marana had to suffer through a rough 84-53 loss at the hands of the Badgers. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Marana in their matchups with the Badgers: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, even though Marana scored an imposing 60 points last Tuesday, Rincon/University still came out on top. Rincon/University managed a 66-60 victory over the Tigers. The win was just what Rincon/University needed coming off of a 83-50 loss in their prior match.
Marana dropped their record down to 5-17 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Rincon/University, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.
Marana came up short against the Rangers in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 66-60. Will Marana have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
