After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph, the Immaculate Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Monday. They came out on top against Stamford by a score of 60-53.
Immaculate found their leader in underclassman Kendra Foy, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Callie Miller was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
The win got Immaculate back to even at 1-1. As for Stamford, their loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-1.
Immaculate will square off against Notre Dame Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stamford will be home for the holidays to greet Norwalk at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
